| About Ms Dee: Ms. Dee was born Ladene Marie Hayes on December 22 on a cold and wintry day in Asheboro, NC. She was married, had a son and divorced. She is now married and has two wonderful grandchildren and two more grandchildren from recent marriage. Ms Dee joined the USMC in 1976 and served six years of active and reserve time. She settled in the Washington, DC area after her tours ended. Ms Dee's hobbies are collecting Marvel Comics, bowling, playing cards, sewing, experimental cooking and of course reading & writing with a deep passion. Ms Dee enjoys continuing education and has an Associate Degree in Automotive Technology (major in automotive diagnostic and minor in tune-ups). She also has a degree in Medical Transcription (minor office machines). She has her motocycle endorsement too and looks forward to owning her own bike! Ms Dee prefers cold and snowy weather to hot and wants to learn to swim all over again. She wants to visit Switzerland and Holland and then tour the continental USA. The perfect home for her is a log house and the perfect exercise is using a Bowflex. Ms Dee moved back to North Carolina in 1992 upon the death of a sister. In 1996, she moved to Kinston, NC where her mobile home was destroyed by Hurricane Fran forcing her to relocate to Greensboro, NC. Ms. Dee currently resides in High Point, NC. Ms Dee has been writing for over 40 years and looks forward to retiring in order to make her dream really come true by being a full time writer!
